For 1975 the 18-22 Series was chosen as the official Wimbledon cars. The fleet of white Austin and Morris 1800’s were used for ferrying players between the playing courts and hotels for the 1975 championship. This was a trend that continued for Leyland, as Princesses were later used for subsequent tournaments and all were fitted with electric windows and sunroofs. Once the tournament was over the cars were handed over to dealers and sold to the public. At least 2 from the 1981 tournament are known to exist
