New old plates

Post by Finchyman » Mon Dec 30, 2019 3:33 pm

With a day off and good weather I fitted some new old style plates. Really improves the appearance and looks so much more in keeping than the perspex ones.

This is the place: www.tippersvintageplates.co.uk
It is a brilliant place to visit and is located down in Cornwall so a ideal holiday destination for all the family.

My understanding is that when the "new" regulations came in with the new font in 2001 anything before that it's ok to fit them

1979 Scirocco Storm
1984 ur quattro
1986 Audi coupe
2001 Audi A2
2010 Audi A5 Sportback quattro

That is also my understanding but it is all rather complicated when you look at the regulations!
