Heat Shield

Post by steveb » Thu Aug 29, 2019 7:30 pm

I would like to replace the heat shield over the exhaust manifold on the 2200 HLS does anyone have a picture of how it looks ? I assuming it's not available to replace, mine had a tiny corner left so no use as a pattern

Thanks

No Tony. On the 2200 the heat shield is a silvery fibrous material that protects the alternator from the heat of the exhaust manifold which it bolts onto. Nothing to do with intake ventilation pipes on the e series.
