Lee Allen’s Wedges
I have wanted one since I was a kid.... Even as young as
6 or 7 when my Uncle had a 2200HL as a company car, I was hooked.
I found
this car on the AutoTrader web site
and also the Princess and Ambassador Owners Club 'For Sale' page. She
is a 1 owner from new and has all the paperwork to prove along with the
original bill of sale.
My wife has
always questioned why I have always liked these cars and never understood
why, untill now..! Since I brought her home on 9/08/08 my wife keeps
asking if we can just nip out in the Princess... Our Princess...! She
is as hooked as I am.
'Mrs Winn'
is the name I have chosen for her, (Named in honour of last owners wife) She
is dressed in unmarked Russet Brown with Tan interior. She has covered
92,000 miles from new on her original engine and still going strong.
She is a pleasure to drive and now the wife will confirm, she is a pleasure
to be driven around in. I hope to be taking her to as many shows as
possible.
Next up... Is the 'HLS'. She is a 1982 2.2
HLS with automatic transmission. She is finished in Champagne Biege with
Paprika Interior. She is one of the last of the Princess 2 range and is a
real pleasure to drive.
