www.leylandprincess.co.uk 1976 MOTOR SHOW This should bring a few memories back (if you were there, of course). This was the Leyland stand at the 1976 Motor Show at Earls Court and virtually every vehicle sold under the BL empire is there. Let’s start at the bottom left, and work our way up: MG Midget, MG BGT, Triumph Spitfire, Triumph TR7, Triumph Stag, Rover SD1, Jaguar XJ-S, various Jaguar’s and Daimler’s. Centre row: Mini’s, various Triumph Dolomites, Princess – a 2200HLS and an 1800 behind the banner, various Allegro’s – an estate can be made out at the top.
